The Laike Plaza development on South Commercial is comprised of a commercial retail space including Tony's Tacos and Momiji, a 4-story mixed-use with 3 commercial spaces below 26 apartments to be completed in summer 2024, and an additional commercial retail space still in the framing process.

Located across the street from Swegle Elementary School, The United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley broke ground on the first 10 cottages on September 19, 2023. The cottages are scheduled to be completed in the spring/early summer 2024.
